Multi-vintage Rose - (bottled 2012) – A lovely hued wine with a lovely disposition. A blend of Syrah & Grenache from the 2008 & 2009 vintages, this wine received lengthy fermentation on the skins to allow for deep coral hues, with aromas redolent of strawberries & rose petals & a dry, lingering finish. Note: So new our winemaker has yet to wax poetic over this beauty. Stay tuned.

2008 Pinot Noir - Smoky black tea infused with flowering raspberry, stirred & spilled upon a Cardinal’s robe that was lifted during a wild night in a Chinese opium den, grunting earthy leather - & one wonders how he got home -sage & roses sprinkled about, lovely, luscious, & as wicked as an abundantly ripe morello cherry dipping black currant sauce about to burst on your tooth. Mustard greens are there too, in a lovely balance of earth & fruit. Remaining cases available: 15

2008 Cabernet Sauvignon - Again & again, & not unlike the 2007 vintage, you’re looking towards a bright light through a deep dark lens of blackberry jam. Yes, blackberry & cassis, candied orange with lime peel, soy-chocolate umami. Umami is everywhere: crushed coriander seeds steeped in ink-black Turkish coffee floating with black & green pepper corns. All in all, an intemperate brew, rife with the sweat of the earth, but let us not forget the refined cedary note of pencil shavings riding on a long, long brambly finish of swarthy-ripe berries & roasted almonds. Red Bat Cuvee (Mulli-vintage Red Blend, bottled 2012) -"The Mighty Murcielago" is a multi-vintage wine of zesty character - dollops of Zinfandel & spicy Grenache accented with lusty Cabernet Sauvignon from several vintages for just the right blissful blend. Our last release of the Red Bat sold out quickly, so we decided to bottle the last few barrels of the blend we had held in reserve just to satisfy your desires.

2009 Petite Sirah – A first ever bottling for us. Inky in color; rich, dense & robust on the palate - indeed a hearty wine for hardy souls. So new the winemaker has yet to brood & pontificate properly on its sumptuous qualities. Stay tuned. Last call - already down to 19 cases remaining for Wine Festival weekend. We do not expect to have any left over after the weekend.

2006 Late Harvest Zinfandel - Scarlet, garnet & limpidly clear, a fine whack of alcohol infused with bright raspberry & chocolate spiked with crushed white pepper. There is a clear sense of candied lemon & orange peel with a whiff of mordacious menthol, maple-cherry & drunken figs soaked in Chambord. Bottled in 500 ml size bottles instead of 750ml - for safety’s sake.
